Our space explorer finds the Curiosity rover, and it's not in Mars??

After its many missions to Mars, the rover had enough of being NASA's ambassador in an empty planet, and decides to retire to the Hockney system nearby. It now enjoys a peaceful routine as the sprinkling supervisor of the terraformed community. 

It turns out its dreams were more modest.

Joining the exploration program is something he volunteered to do.. right?
